15 month update :)

Andrew is now 15 months old!! I'm not really sure where the time has gone but I know that we are enjoying (almost) every minute of it. He had his 15 month checkup three weeks early, so here are the stats (although I think these may no longer be accurate). He is 33 inches tall and weighs 28 pounds. He is wearing 24 month clothes and a size 6 shoe. He can walk an entire half mile and enjoys socializing with every person he meets during his walk. He continues to eat very well and he has developed a love for 'organic' food (rocks, sticks, and mud). He is doing so many different activities, most of which are documented in the pictures and videos below. One of his new talents that we don't have on video yet is his new love for shape sorting. I also can't wait to post a picture of his new favorite food, blueberries. Needless to say those pictures are a little messy. Enjoy the pictures and videos :)

Andrew is fascinated with sticks and rocks. Here are sticks he found on one of our walks at the park.

We take Andrew to the park to walk around a loop that is half a mile and yes, he walks every inch of it. It does take us a while to finish since he has to look at numerous sticks, rocks, trashcans, and benches along the way. I have a feeling the rock featured in this video didn't make it back to the park grounds;)

Andrew has learned how to crawl into his toy basket. He will sit in there for long periods of time looking through and throwing out every single toy!!

Our Little Man

Andrew had to get a haircut...again!! He is 14 months old and has already had to have two haircuts and looks like he will probably need one every 2-3 months! This haircut, for some reason, made Andew really look like a little boy instead of a baby. What do you think?

And We're Walking!!

We have been having a great time with Andrew recently. His personality seems to be out of control at times and he seems to be really learning many things. One of his most recent accomplishments was learning to walk. He had been taking a few steps here or there right before his birthday, but didn't seem interested enough to give it much effort. Then, about a week and a half ago, he decided he was ready. Here is a video of his newly acquired talent :)

1 year post...a little late :)

We had a great time celebrating Andrew's first birthday. After having a huge Finalization party, we opted for a more 'low-key' event for his birthday. It was great sharing this moment with my mom (Mimi) and Andrew's birthmom and grandparents. Here are some pics:

Andrew may grow up to be a celebrity one day. He handles the 'paparazzi' taking pictures of his everyday activities without the slightest concern :) In case you were interested in knowing, Andrew's one year appointment was great. He continues to stay in the 95% range for height and weight. At the time of his appointment, he was close to 28 pounds and 32 inches.

Cousins or Brothers?

So obviously, there is no blood relationship between Andrew and his cousin Tycen, but I think they look like each other in this picture. I think it's the eyes and cheeks. Two very handsome boys :)

Perseverance

Andrew still loves his paci, but he knows he can only have them when he is about to go to sleep or when it saves our sanity (long car rides and/or Andrew being sick). Apparently Andrew really wanted a paci, so he climbed INTO the cabinet and came out with his old slow flow bottle nipples!! I let him keep it just to reward his perseverance in going after something he wanted :)
